Just got back from 4 days of climbing in Vegas. So nice to get out of the rain! Is winter over yet? I've been SO busy with school/work/life since last summer that I haven't had much time for trips or my web site. Ski season was a disaster between poor weather and dangerous avalanche conditions. I have gotten up to Squamish a few times in the past few months though and I'm super excited about my upcoming trip to Europe. Off to Vantage for my desert climbing in a few weeks.

I just finished John Harlin's new book "The Eiger Obsession." It was an excellent read and I can't wait for the accompanying movie, "The Alps" to open here in Vancouver. Go see Sharkwater! Incredibly compelling movie that attempts to expose myths and wrong perceptions of sharks as well as bringing attention to their importance to the ocean's ecosystems as well as in the larger picture. These beautiful creatures are in terrible trouble and they need our help. The web site has a lot of good information too so check it out.
